Dub's Garage, Oh man, where do I start? Well, I'm no mechanic but months back I started watching you tube videos on car repair and I got all fired up to do a re-build on the entire front and rear suspension on my 2001 Ranger 4x4. Heck, it only took those video guys 2 hrs to get it all done, how hard could it be? Well, 2 months later, I was still turning wrenches on "good Ol' "Truckie" (my 2001 Ford Ranger 4x4) and learning a lot actually. New upper and lower front control arms, new polyurethane bushings all around, new outer tie-rods, new torsion keys, add-a-leafs, new 17" wheels and spacers, new shocks, rear lift blocks. My neighbor "Hot-Rod Frank" across the street would come over every few days and give me some good pointers and how-to's etc. (like when I busted a brake line) LOL Then, when all was said and done, I went to a shop for an alignment in the morning after all the work I did. They mentioned from all the mods I did that they would not be able to do an alignment for me. Maaaan, I was bummed after all that work I did, I was gonna have to drive around looking good but with crooked wheels??? LOL So, I went over to 4 wheel specialties and they recommended that I should indeed be able to get an alignment from any shop, but to maybe un-crank my torsion key bolts a few turns. (Good folks over there as well but they could not currently due an alignment for me due to being so short-staffed.) Well my buddy "Hot-Rod Frank" as well as a family friend mentioned to go see the good folks over at Dub's Garage. That they were good people from a solid line of family mechanics and very courteous. Well, yes they were all indeed. Super nice from the get-go. Ms. Kiri at the desk got me an appt. that day. My mechanic Sean, after letting him know all the "shade-tree mechanic" upgrades I did, said with confidence that he'd "take a look" at it for me and they'd see what they could do. The next day, (due to me being at work) my wife drove "Ol' Truckie" home and said it drove straight and true. Thanks Dub's for getting my wheels right with a proper and true alignment. Sincerely, - PE ("Ol' Truckie" appreciates it too I'm sure.)
